Description

A hub for collaboration, connection, and community, Riverside Student Center & Forum transforms the campus waterfront into a space of exchange — where academic life extends into the public realm.

Positioned along the city’s waterfront, the Riverside Student Center & Forum is a landmark building that serves as both a student hub and civic destination. Its dynamic, two-wing form — joined by a sweeping, occupiable roof plane — invites movement upward and outward, symbolizing growth, discovery, and collective momentum. The ramped roof doubles as a green terrace, offering spaces for study, events, and open-air dialogue.
Inside, the building integrates flexible learning environments, community gathering areas, and student services, anchored by a double-height forum space designed for informal exchange. Transparent at its base and sculptural in its massing, the center bridges the gap between institution and city, offering a vibrant extension of campus life.
